1. Preparation of slurry pump before installation
The pump has been tested and tested before delivery. In order to ensure its good working condition, it must be installed correctly. Before installation, the model and parameters of the equipment should be checked according to the packing list, whether the parts and components are in good condition, and whether the technical data and quality certificate carried by random are complete. After verification, the relevant technical data should be read in detail, especially the operation manual of slurry pump, and the relevant technical requirements and operational requirements should be mastered before installation.
2. Fix the slurry pump correctly
The horizontal pump unit shall be installed by secondary grouting. After installation, the center line of the unit should be consistent with the center line of the foundation. The deviation between the central height of the unit and the design value should not be greater than + / -2mm, and the horizontal tolerance of the unit should be 0.1/1000.
For pump units with direct coupling drive, the coaxial degree of the unit is generally ensured by the alignment of the coupling. There are two ways to find the coupling:
One is to match the knife edge ruler with the plug ruler. The tool edge ruler is used to find the outer circle of the positive coupling, so as to ensure that each coupling is flat in all directions. Its maximum error should be no more than 0.10mm. With feeler check the clearance between each pair of shaft coupling, the maximum error Δ (Δ = delta 1 - the delta 2) should not greater than 0.10 mm.
The other method is to find the positive coupling by using a magnetic percentage meter and a plug gauge. Fix the magnetic meter on the outer circle of one side coupling and drive the car. Put the measuring head on the outer circle of the opposite coupling. The clearance of the coupling shall be measured by a plug ruler, and the maximum error shall not be greater than 0.10mm.
For a belt-driven pump unit, the parallelism between the pump shaft and the motor shaft should be ensured. If the center distance is small, you can use a ruler to align the end face of the flat belt pulley. When the center distance is large, you can use the pull line to align the end face of the belt.
3.Matters needing attention for supporting pipeline of slurry pump
Proportional suction line
Suction pipe diameter: the suction pipe diameter should be the same as the inlet diameter of the pump or slightly larger than the inlet diameter of the pump. The principle is to avoid cavitation of the pump and to prevent the slurry from forming deposition in the pipeline.
Suction gate valve: in order to facilitate maintenance of the pump, the suction gate valve should be installed, and its diameter is the same as that of the suction pipe. The expansion joint should be set between the suction inlet and the suction pipe of the pump so as to disassemble and install the pump.
Bell discharge line
Discharge pipe diameter: the discharge pipe diameter is related to the property of the slurry and the sedimentation velocity. Generally, the discharge pipe diameter is equal to or slightly larger than the outlet diameter of the pump.
Exit gate valve: the exit gate valve shall be the same as the discharge pipe diameter.
Pressure gauge: located between the pump outlet and the first valve in the straight pipe section.
When regulating flow by valve, the regulating valve shall be located at the pump outlet and shall not be regulated by valve on the inlet pipe to avoid cavitation.
4. Pipeline configuration and requirements of shaft sealing water and cooling water
The pipeline of shaft sealing water and cooling water shall be configured according to FIG. 7. The shaft seal part of the mechanical sealing pump is equipped with two exposed pipe joints. The pressure gauge side is the inlet and the other side is the outlet. Grease - lubricated bracket without cooling water. When lubricated with grease, no shaft seal water is added.
5. Several important matters needing attention in slurry pump maintenance
Slurry pump has been widely used in many industrial fields. Its main purpose is to transport medium with particles. Relatively complex working conditions may lead to large wear and tear of slurry pump in daily use. In order to extend the service life of slurry pump, the best way is to strengthen the daily maintenance of slurry pump.
1. The use of slurry pump should ensure that the slurry pump component system is reliable and the slurry pump pipeline system is reliable.
2. Some parts of slurry pump belong to the vulnerable parts. In daily use, we should pay attention to the loss of the vulnerable parts and timely repair or replace them. In the process of repairing or replacing the damaged parts of slurry pump, it is necessary to ensure correct assembly, reasonable clearance adjustment and avoid the appearance of tight friction.
3. The suction pipe system of slurry pump must be free of air leakage. At the same time, attention should be paid to whether the suction inlet is blocked during operation. The slurry pump needs to deal with a lot of solid particles, so the barrier placed in the pump pool should meet the requirements of the slurry pump to pass the particles, so as to reduce the possibility of blockage caused by too large particles or long fiber materials entering the pump body.
4. The bearing water pressure and water amount of slurry pump shall comply with relevant technical regulations, and the tightness degree of the stuffing shall be adjusted or replaced at any time according to the operation condition, otherwise, the leakage of shaft seal may occur. In addition, it has the same significance for the timely replacement of the bearing sleeve of slurry pump.
5, slurry pump bearings if you need to change, is make sure there is no dust cleaning, lubricating oil in the bearing components, at the same time, the temperature of the bearing in the process of the slurry pump is running normally should keep at 60 to 65 , the highest also should not exceed 75 , otherwise known as anomalies.
